"The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
Looking at this Psalm the person who wrote this, is declaring and believing that against all things the Lord is their rock, fortress and deliverance.

The writer of Psalms is saying that God is my rescuer, he will save me from danger because he is the one to protect me from danger, he will provide defensive works on my behalf for the battle we fight is a spiritual battle that cannot be seen.
To whom “I WILL trust”, the writer does not say I do trust or I am going to trust or I have put my trust in Him. They say I WILL, which means no matter what happens, no matter the circumstance, no matter what comes against them, that person CHOOSES to believe they are trusting in God, knowing He is our strength, our deliverance and our fortress.
Will is a verb, it is a doing word, it’s meaning is expressing the future tense or expressing inevitable events. It is the desire, inclination or choice of a person. A legal declaration of a persons wishes.
Just how God is just and the enemy looks for legal ground when we make a declaration whether good or bad, it is a choice to focus on God and choose to believe who He is. The enemy has NO hold. There is nothing that come against you as a Child of God, there is nothing that God cannot fix, there is nothing He cannot sort, there is nothing he cannot restore.
God can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING but it is up to US to allow him by focusing and declaring his promises and knowing who is!!
