Many hear the word and think about the olden days where seers were seen as people who are involved in witchcraft. What we need to remember is that witchcraft is using the gifting of Christ in the wrong way. Please see my page on Witchcraft for a deeper understanding.

What is the job of a Seer?
A prophet is a teacher of truth, a seer is a perceiver of hidden truth, a revelator is a bearer of new truth. In the widest sense, the one most commonly used, title, prophet, includes other titles and makes: Prophet, Teacher, Perceiver, Bearer of truth! But what do they actually mean?
When we look at the meanings of each word we see that a seers job is to proclaim the will of God by teaching and instructing others the hidden meanings of the truth (the word of God) and this is done by the will of God. We are spokesman of divine truth from observation and interpretation. From the observations in the spirit realm we interpret the meaning of the vision and share with others (believers of God) on their meanings. This is so others can also have understanding of what God is saying. We will use our spiritual senses and the Holy Spirit to confirm with God firstly and then share what we are instructed to. It is always important that whatever anyone else says you look up and line it up with the word of God on your own accord. This helps you discern and know what is truly from God.
God gives us all this ability to be a seer as this is just one of the giftings of the ministry. Some followers will be more developed than others. If you want to see in the spirit pray to God and ask him.

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and yeshall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seekethfindeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
